truTV has always been a playground for big personalities and bold, off-the-wall ideas. It's a network where creators swing hard, have fun, and make shows people actually want to watch again (and again). Because on truTV, the shows ARE the network.
To capture that spirit, the WarnerMedia/truTV team needed a graphic identity that could flex, riff, and evolve with the content. Our solution was a system built directly from the shows themselves - treating clips, characters, and moments as the raw material for an improvisational, experiment-first visual language. The result is a brand that feels alive, inventive, and endlessly remixable, celebrating truTV’s chaotic catalog with a design system as playful as the programming.




A creator-driven network needs a creator-driven identity.

And so do funny ones. Therefore, the graphics are built to work on or with footage. We never have to cut away from the content (unless we want to).









Inspired by the R/G/B signals of traditional TV, our palette is simple, expressive, and bold.
The punchy brand colors separate themselves from the look of specific shows and can be used interchangeably as needed.







We use one font flavor used for everything.
Layouts are never fussy. We keep it simple.
The rules are minimal:
• The ratio between text sizes is always 2:1.
• Pick a size and stick to it.
• Keep it BIG.
