TZGZ is SYFY’s late-night destination for stoner programming, where regular scheduling is traded for a "higher" television experience. We partnered with SYFY to bring this surreal block to life, designing and animating over seven minutes of original content. We branded the franchise, created mind-brending IDs, and developed narrative interstitial series like High Wizard and Planetary Gossip. It was an amazing opportunity to throw out the rulebook and get werid.

GALACTIC GROUP CHAT

Imagine Mean Girls, but with more gravity. For this series of shorts, we brought the solar system down to Earth — concepting, writing, and producing six spots about the galaxy’s most toxic clique. Our planets are sassy, petty, and full of R-rated drama.

To bring the solar system to life, we gave each planet a personality as unstable as their atmosphere. Based loosely on scientific fact and heavily on high school trauma, here is the official lineup of the galaxy's most toxic clique.

HIGH WIZARD

Inspired by W.E.B. Du Bois’ pioneering data portraits, the series infographics use animation and textured details to translate his bold experimentation and purpose into a modern, time-based medium.

TZGZ BRANDING

Cohesive archival photo treatments and a restrained motion language add quiet urgency, supported by streamlined toolkits for efficient, flexible production.
