FX NETWORKS

FX’s Pistol is a six-episode limited series about a rock-and-roll revolution. Our graphic campaign channels the furious, chaotic, and often heartbreaking journey of the Sex Pistols through three wild, mucus-spattered years that changed music forever.

Partnering closely with the team at FX, we created a graphics package and animated promo that capture the raw energy,  grit, and urgency of the punk movement.

We had a crackin’ time tearing into the mo-cap footage FX provided - plastering chaotic collages across 3D scenes and layering the actors’ bodies with gritty, grungy textures. The result is an immersive visual world that drags you straight into the anarchic chaos of Pistol.

The collaboration was both methodical and instinctive. We traded design files and ideas with the FX team, refining and reshaping until everything felt perfectly, beautifully wrong.
